Engineered with elite trail athletes in mind, the Longsky 2 Matryx® delivers breathable durability with a Kevlar®-reinforced woven upper. FloatPro™ Foam cushions every stride, while a Vibram® MegaGrip® outsole with 5mm lugs ensures maximum traction for high-speed trail runs on rugged terrain.

The focus with the Matryx® Pack is evolution over reinvention. With Merrell's elite athletes competing at the highest levels in both the MTL Longsky 2 and the MTL Skyfire 2, the goal was to further tune these patterns to meet their needs.

The upper features a single-layer, Kevlar reinforced Matryx® woven textile that maximizes breathability and durability while dramatically reducing stretch. Internally the lining treatment wicks moisture while the midsole features Merrell's best FloatPro™ Foam for long distance comfort. Underneath, they used Vibram® MegaGrip® outsole with 5mm lugs offer maximum traction.
